Since the start of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, almost every episode introduced us to a new character, and Gege Akutami's writing style makes every character stand out and adorn the series with their unique persona. First, we were treated to Riko Amanai's charm and innocence, then Toji Fushiguro's enigmatic appearance entertained us, and just recently, we were introduced to another electrifying character, Yuki Tsukumo.

Although her screen time in season 2, episode 5, was limited, she instantly became a hot topic of discussion among the fans. What will be her importance in the future of the series, and will she meet the same fate as Riko and Toji? Multiple questions arise as Yuki gets her first brief introduction to Jujutsu Kaisen, and here's everything important you need to know about her.

Yuki Tsukumo Personality And Appearance

It's hard not to notice Yuki Tuskumo's undeniable beauty. She has a tall stature and an athletic body, with a bold look on her face. At her first appearance, it's clear that Yuki Tsukumo is an extrovert who makes friends easily. Despite meeting Geto for the first time, she asks him what kind of women he prefers, followed by a smooth conversation regarding the Cursed Spirits and how they are born, as if she has been an acquaintance of Geto for a long time. The same question about women's preferences is asked by Aoi Todo as well. Surprisingly, Todo stole this popular quote from Yuki, and the two shared a lot of memories.

Yuki Tsukumo, as explained in the episode itself, is a Special Grade Sorcerer. But despite her high status, she never goes on any mission. She then explained how her ideals don't match with that of Jujutsu High, and she dreams of an ideal world where Cursed Spirits don't exist at all. But as Yuki avoids going into battle, she should not be mistaken for a weakling. Her battles in the manga were a sight to behold, and she has taken care of some really powerful Curses all on her own.

Yuki Tsukumo As A Star Plasma Vessel

Before leaving, Yuki told Geto about Tengen and how his condition was stable at the moment. She revealed that either a new Star Plasma Vessel was found or a new one had been born. But how does Yuki know so much about the Vessel? Well, that's because she was the former Star Plasma Vessel and has a deep relationship with Tengen. However, Yuki Tsukumo's ideals don't go well with Tengen's, and she hates the fact that young girls have to sacrifice their lives to keep Tengen in his senses.

Moreover, if it wasn't for Star Religious Group's heinous plan of eliminating Riko Amanai, Yuki would have joined the organization herself. Given her status as a former Star Plasma Vessel, she also has the ability to hear other Vessels within Tengen. Despite not being on good terms with Tengen, she fought alongside Choso to protect them and put a halt to Kenjaku's malevolent plot.

Yuki Tsukumo's Fate In The Series Explored

The manga depicted a spine-chilling battle as Yuki and Choso united forces to confront the formidable Kenjaku. After a series of riveting chapters, where the balance of power seemed to sway unpredictably between Kenjaku and our heroes, chapter 208 delivered an unexpected moment that we never wanted to witness. After making a clear hole in Yuki's guts, Kenjaku continued to attack her without giving her any time to recover. However, while on the verge of death, she still made her last attempt to kill Kenjaku and attacked him with her ultimate attack, Star Wrath. However, Kenjaku was still saved from the dreadful consequences of her attacks very cleverly, and Yuki was shown lying still and lifeless on the floor. Although she is considered dead, there's no official confirmation about it from the writer.

Yuki's voice in Jujutsu Kaisen perfectly matches her sharp and bold personality, and all thanks go to Noriko Hidaka's incredible voice-acting talent. Born on May 31st, 1962, Noriko has been a professional voiceover artist for a long time, lending her voice to some of the greatest characters from immensely popular anime series. Throughout her career, Noriko's most notable works include voicing Bell-mere in One Piece, Near in Death Note, Kikyo in Inuyasha, Seta Sojiro in Rurouni Kenshin, Shalnark in Hunter X Hunter, alongside other popular works.
